“If the Dry models are specialists, the KM is the Yasaka I’d put in most stylists’ hands as their main blade. It pairs the same first-rate ATS314 cobalt and clam-shaped convex edge with a 3D offset handle, and that handle is the quiet star — the extra contour drops the thumb into a more natural plane than a flat offset, so a full column of graduation, layering and slice work goes by without the shoulder tightening. The cobalt holds its keenness through weeks of daily cutting, and across 5.5”, 6.0” and 6.5” there’s a length to suit most hands and most heads.

There isn’t much to warn you off here — it’s a well-balanced all-rounder rather than a flashy one. The only real notes are that the flat screw L wants a key for tension rather than adjusting by hand, and a barber who lives over the comb will still want the longer 7” blade. For an everyday professional offset, the KM is honestly hard to fault at the price.”
