“The LC LEFTY is the one I point cost-conscious left-handers toward, and it’s a true left-hand build rather than a converted right — the blades are ground for the left hand so the edge stays in your sightline and the hair feeds rather than folds. What sets it apart from the offset FX lefty is the traditional straight handle, which a lot of left-handed stylists trained on and still prefer; if that’s your grip, this feels like coming home. The convex all-rounder blade handles blunt lines, point work and general layering without complaint.

A few honest notes. The straight handle doesn’t relieve the wrist the way a 3D offset does, so on very long sessions some stylists will feel it more. It comes in 5.0” and 5.5” only, so there’s no over-comb length here, and it leans on Joewell’s Supreme Stainless Alloy rather than a named premium steel. But as a genuine left-hand traditional cutter at this price, it’s honestly one of the better value left-handed scissors I can recommend.”
