With the slice-cutting convex edge it draws cleanly through a slide cut and handles scissor-over-comb on dry hair with real authority, which is why it carries a barber tag as much as a stylist one. The VG10 at 60-62HRC is the same hard, edge-holding steel as the rest of the range, taking a fine convex bevel that stays keen for weeks of daily work. Two honest points. Because the shortest option is 6.0”, this isn’t the scissor for tight detail or close palm-to-palm work — if your day is fine precision near the fingers, you’d want a shorter blade. And hard steel asks for care: the tips don’t enjoy being dropped and a chip needs a proper sharpener.
