With only 15 wide-set teeth it removes generous, visible chunks — it’s the tool for carving movement, separation and deliberate texture into a finished cut, dropping weight fast where you want it. The semi-convex blade keeps each bite clean rather than chewing, and Kasho’s 440C at 58-60HRC is properly hardened stainless with the build quality the name carries. The camel-back offset handle and ratchet tension screw make it comfortable and easy to dial in. Be clear-eyed about what coarse teeth mean, though: this is not a subtle finisher, and on fine or sparse hair 15 teeth can leave gaps or look heavy-handed if you over-work a section — for soft, traceless blending you’d want a 30-plus-tooth thinner instead.
