The 30 V-shaped teeth remove a moderate, even ratio — the most forgiving spec to learn blending on, soft enough that a heavy hand won’t leave an obvious hole — and the offset handle keeps the wrist relaxed. SUS440C at 55-57HRC is honest budget steel: it takes a usable edge and shrugs off the salon, though I’d be straight that at this hardness it won’t hold its point as long as a cobalt thinner and the teeth are the part to protect, so expect to send it for sharpening sooner. The rainbow coating is genuinely practical too — it’s allergy-neutral and easy on sensitive skin, not just decorative. Two more honest notes: 30 fine teeth blend and finish rather than strip a dense coarse head fast, and the coating will mark at the contact points over time.
