“The Blue range is where Kasho’s small-blade thinking shows. Offered from 4.5” up to 5.5”, this is a detail tool — the short, mirror-polished convex blade in VG-10W is built for getting into a fringe, working tight graduation around the ears and doing precise point work where a 6.5” blade just gets in your way. At 58-60 HRC it takes a properly fine edge and the hollow grind keeps friction low, so it falls through wet hair cleanly rather than folding it.

Be honest with yourself about the length, though: 4.5” to 5.5” is not a scissor-over-comb or heavy-bulk blade, and barbers wanting reach should look at a longer model. The flat-head tension screw is also old-school — you’ll want a key to adjust it rather than tweaking on the fly. But for a stylist who does meticulous, close detail work, the Blue Offset is a lovely thing to control.”
