The hollow semi-convex VG-10W blade at 58-60 HRC gives a silky, predictable slice across the techniques you actually do all day: blunt baselines, graduation, point cutting and a clean slide when you want it. Spanning 5.0” to 6.0”, it covers most heads, and the raised ratchet screw is the genuinely useful bit — you can nudge tension by hand mid-cut as the blade beds in, rather than reaching for a key.
