Paired with the convex hollow-ground blade and slice edge, it’s happiest on slide cutting and clean dry detailing, and the ball-bearing pivot gives that smooth, drag-free open and close Kasho is known for.

The V10W steel at 58-60HRC takes a fine edge, though at this hardness it’s a hone-it-regularly blade rather than a set-and-forget cobalt — fair for the grind, worth knowing. The 7.0 in the range opens up scissor-over-comb if you want reach. Where I’d pause is the price: nine hundred is a serious outlay for a single-bevel V10W cutter, so you’re partly paying for the Green styling and Kasho’s name.
