30-Day Return Policy
If your shears aren’t right, contact us within 30 days of delivery for an exchange, credit, or refund.
Conditions
To be eligible for a return:
- Shears must be unused and in original packaging
- All included accessories (case, cloth, oil, adjustment key) must be present
- Razor blades and used styling blades cannot be returned (hygiene)
- Sale/clearance items are final sale
How to Return
- Email contact@japanshears.com.au with your order number and reason for return
- We’ll provide a return shipping address and instructions
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging
- Ship via a tracked service (you cover return shipping for change-of-mind returns)
Exchanges
Want a different size or model? We’ll process your exchange once we receive the original item. If the new item is a different price, we’ll refund or charge the difference.
Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund is issued.
Faulty Products
If your shears arrive damaged or defective, contact us immediately. We cover return shipping for faulty products and will replace or refund at no cost to you.
Your Rights
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this policy. If a product has a major fault, you’re entitled to a replacement or refund regardless of our return window.
