Questions to ask when choosing a shear seller.

A good seller makes it easy to understand the tool you are buying. Focus on the exact model and the support that comes with that order.

Before you order

  1. Read the full model name and variant. Check size, handedness and tooth count if it is a thinner.
  2. Compare the stated steel, edge and handle with the maker’s model details when those matter to your decision.
  3. Read the seller’s current delivery, return and warranty terms.
  4. Ask how to arrange service for the edge you are buying.
  5. Keep the order record and any model or serial information supplied.

If a seller says they are an authorised dealer and that is important to you, check the maker’s current dealer information or ask the maker directly. A logo or price is not enough to settle it.

When your shear arrives, inspect the blades, pivot and variant before using it on a client. Our arrival checklist makes that quick. For help choosing a model from this shop, use the contact form.
