Clean cutting with a blunt tip
Seido is a single-size, 6.0-inch cutter with a convex edge and blunt blade tips. The offset handle places the thumb lower than the finger ring; an inner ball-bearing screw controls the pivot.
The listed steel is Japanese 440C at 60.5 ± 0.5 HRC. Its silver finish keeps the design simple. This model is right-handed.
Choose Seido if you want a mid-length cutter with a less pointed tip. Wipe the blades dry after every service and have the edge maintained by a shear specialist.
