Description
Akane is the classic-handle option in this part of the Juntetsu range. Its symmetrical rings, convex edge and VG10 steel sit behind the matte rose-gold finish. Choose the size by your cutting work rather than the colour alone.
- Steel: VG10 at the listed 61±0.5 HRC
- Finish: Matte rose gold
- Handle: Classic symmetrical rings
- Edge: Convex for clean cutting and detail work
- Sizes: 5.0”, 5.5” and 6.0”
- Hardness: 61±0.5 HRC
- Handedness: Right-handed
What To Expect
Choose 5.0” for close detail, 5.5” for a middle length or 6.0” when a longer cutting pass suits your technique. For a different grip position, compare Akane’s classic handle with an offset model in the Juntetsu range.
