Kamisori Shears: Compare the Geometry
Brand origin: Canada
Compare Kamisori model geometry, including Sword cutters in separate Right and Left sizes from 6.0 to 7.5 inches, and distinct texture/set roles.
Kamisori is a Canadian shear brand with distinct blade and handle shapes across its catalogue. Compare the actual model instead of treating a coloured finish or a brand label as a cutting specification.
Working choices
The Diablo II thinner lists right- and left-handed 6.0-inch variants with 30 teeth. The Revolver III thinner is a different handle and tooth construction to inspect. For cutters, check length, edge and whether the thumb ring is fixed or swivels.
Read the selected product for steel and set contents. The Kamisori collection brings the models together.
Sword gives cutting hand and reach their own choices
The Sword cutter offers four nominal sizes in each hand: 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 and 7.5 inches. Choose the actual Right or Left build before comparing length. A right-handed 7.5-inch option and a left-handed 7.5-inch option are separate tools, rather than a reversible grip.
Sword combines an offset handle, sword blade profile, Kamisori’s 3D convex edge description, ATS314 steel and a ball-bearing system. The maker’s Sword reference names that construction. Profile, edge and handle describe separate features; the blade vocabulary guide helps you read them.
A longer nominal label gives you a reach question to assess. It does not establish a cutting span in millimetres or promise that the longest tool will suit your comb work. Use the barber reach guide to put a published blade measurement beside its exact reference, then compare working-tip placement with your familiar cutter.
Give each tool in the case a role
A second cutter might cover a different reach or provide a same-length backup. Name that purpose before choosing another model. The two-length kit guide helps you explain the difference.
The Sword cutter/texturiser set is a separate complete purchase. Its thinner needs its own hand, nominal size and tooth reading; a longer cutter does not create a longer toothed tool. Read the selected contents on that page.
The earlier Diablo and Revolver choices also have their own tooth and handle layouts. The thinner buying guide keeps role, cutting hand and tooth design together, with a left-hand thinner example when that is your requirement. For a continuous-edge tool, use the left-handed cutter shortlist.
Keep the exact model’s pivot instructions and protect each blade in storage. If its action changes, record hand, selected size and symptom through the care guide.
