How Yuki Compares
Yuki is a right-handed cutter built around VG10 steel at 60–62 HRC, a convex edge and an offset handle. The lower thumb ring changes your grip position; the polished finish is a separate choice from the blade geometry.
All three listed sizes are on the longer side: choose 6.0” for a shorter reach, 6.5” as a middle step or 7.0” for longer sections and scissor-over-comb. If you are comparing Yuki with another Juntetsu model, check the edge and handle as well as length in the Juntetsu range.
Wipe the blades dry after use, oil the pivot as needed and have the convex edge serviced by a professional when the cut begins to drag. The steel library explains what the steel grade means.
