Choose the thumb mechanism before adding another tool

This listing supplies one right-handed Sakura Double Swivel cutter. It has a convex edge, SUS440C steel, polished finish and Sakura engraving. A separate movable thumb assembly adds handle movement beyond the main joint between the blades.

That is the useful feature to compare with a fixed-handle shear. The engraving is visible decoration; it does not explain the mechanism. Our fixed-versus-swivel guide shows the two joints separately.

Start from a length you already use, then compare the handle movement at that nominal size. A six-inch label describes the whole tool; it does not provide a published blade-span measurement. A moving thumb assembly also leaves the cutter’s right-handed blade construction in place.

One cutter or the matching pair?

The Double Swivel pair with a six-inch cutter adds a six-inch, 30-tooth thinner whose size stays unchanged. The thinner on its own is a separate purchase when a cutter is already covered.
