Cobalt Vertex is a single right-handed cutting shear in 5.5”, 6.0” and 6.5” whole-scissor lengths. Its blade is listed for slide cutting. Within the cobalt range, that separates it from the Apex cutter, whose listing emphasises a reinforced tip for detail work.

Vertex lists Takefu VG-10 cobalt steel, a 45° convex edge, an offset handle and a click-adjust ball-bearing pivot. The thumb ring sits below the finger ring. The three variants change length; they retain the same listed construction.

The Vertex set adds a same-length texturiser option. If you need only the cutter, choose the length that matches your cutting space. Dry the blades after use, oil the pivot when needed and use a professional sharpener familiar with convex edges.
