Opposing rings, with a fixed handle

Crystal Elite Classic keeps the thumb and finger rings in a traditional opposing layout. Choose it when that is the fixed shape you want to compare with your present cutter. The faceted control sits at the main blade pivot; it does not add a moving thumb joint.

All three options are right-handed, with VG10 steel, a convex cutting edge and a mirror-polished finish. The rounded blade description concerns the blade’s shape. Keep it separate from the convex edge and the handle layout.

Read the 5.5-inch Classic beside the 5.5-inch Crystal Elite Offset. Both list VG10, a convex edge and mirror polish. The useful change is the fixed ring arrangement: Classic keeps the rings opposite; Offset staggers them.

Buying one tool or a pair

This listing supplies a single cutter. The Crystal Elite pair contains an Offset cutter and a six-inch thinner; it is not a Classic cutter bundle. If you want to keep Classic as your cutter, compare the standalone thinner separately.
