The construction distinguishes Master Tech Black Classic: VG10 steel at 62–63 HRC, a convex edge, tungsten-carbide inlay and a symmetrical handle. The black coating is the finish; the blade and grip decide how it compares with other Juntetsu cutters.
The listed right-handed sizes are 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0 inches. Select a shorter length for detail or a longer one for more reach, then compare the classic handle with an offset model in the Juntetsu range.
Wipe the coated blades dry and keep the pivot clean. Tell a professional sharpener about the coating and convex edge when the cut begins to drag.
