Four tooth counts, one YS handle
The 6.0-inch Yasaka YS offers 16, 20, 30 and 40-tooth variants. The lower counts give you a more open pattern to compare for deliberate texture; the denser counts are options for smaller changes and blending. Tooth shape and technique still affect the result.
Each listed version uses ATS314 cobalt alloy, an offset handle and Yasaka’s prism-ground tooth design. Choose the tooth count in the variant menu rather than treating YS as one interchangeable thinner.
Work in light passes, comb out cut hair and check the section before repeating.
