Choose the cutter and the thinner separately
The New Era pair contains one right-handed cutter and one right-handed E-series thinner. Choose the cutter in 5.0 or 5.5 inches, then choose E-30 with 30 teeth or E-40 with 40 teeth. Both thinner choices have a nominal size of 5.6 inches.
The cutter uses the Standard JOEWELL Blade and a traditional symmetric handle. The E-series tools also use symmetric handles, but their toothed blades have a separate job. A shared ring arrangement does not make the two tools interchangeable.

Changing the cutter length leaves the selected thinner’s nominal length unchanged. Changing 30 to 40 selects another E-series model, not another New Era cutter.
Give the tooth model its own reason

If only the cutter is needed, the single New Era at 5.5 inches keeps that purchase separate. Either E-series thinner can also be considered on its own when your current cutter is sound.
